Project Curator

Since starting out in the early 1990s after the fall of the Berlin wall, I have been curating projects in the arts. As director of ENSEMBLE ÉMIGRÉ I regularly devise concerts based on my research at the Royal College of Music. I have also curated many projects in the field of historical performance and art song, including a staged production and feature film of the Goethe-Singspiel 'Erwin und Elmire' as well as concerts and recordings featuring the songs of C.P.E Bach, Engel Lund and Robert Kahn. Prior to my musical projects I devised a number of international visual arts exhibitions for ACC Galerie Weimar.

Selected Projects

Rediscovering the music of Robert Kahn

Robert Kahn (1865-1951) was a highly successful composer of songs and chamber music who fled to England from Nazi persecution in 1939. So far this project with musicians from the Royal College of Music and ENSEMBLE ÉMIGRÉ, dedicated to reviving and re-evaluating his music, has included concerts at the RCM, the German Embassy London and the Akademie der Künste Berlin as well as a CD production.

Find out more about the Robert Kahn project.
